This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which refunds may be processed for various services within the Basementgrid application. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our comprehensive Terms of Service, which governs your overall use of the Service.
Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Basementgrid app, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy addresses refund procedures for:

Basementgrid Workspace Plan Subscriptions.

Payments collected by Form Creators for the completion of Forms.

Refundable Deposits facilitated through Forms.

Payments for Bookings.
2. Refunds for Basementgrid Workspace Plan Subscriptions
2.1. Non-Refundable for Partial Periods: As detailed in Section 4.5 of our Terms of Service, Basementgrid does not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods. When you cancel your paid Workspace subscription, your access to paid features continues until the end of your current paid-for billing period.
2.2. Requesting a Refund for Subscription: If you believe you are entitled to a refund for your Basementgrid Workspace subscription due to an error or specific circumstance not covered by the above, all refund requests for Workspace subscriptions must be submitted in writing to: payment@basementgrid.com
Please include your Account details, subscription plan, and a clear explanation of your refund request. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Refunds for Payments Collected for Forms
3.1. Form Creator's Responsibility: Payments collected by Form Creators from other Users for the completion of Forms are governed by the policies set by the individual Form Creator. Basementgrid's role is limited to facilitating these payment transactions via a third-party payment processor.
3.2. Monthly Payouts: Please note that payments collected by Form Creators are typically paid out to them on a monthly basis. Due to this payout schedule, any refund for a payment made for a Form is subject to the discretion and policy of the Form Creator.
3.3. How to Request a Refund for a Form Payment: If you require a refund for a payment made for a Form, you must contact the Form Creator directly. Basementgrid does not process these refunds. The Form Creator is solely responsible for reviewing your request and initiating any approved refunds through their own payment processor.
4. Refunds for Refundable Deposits in Forms
4.1. Form Creator's Responsibility: Refundable deposits facilitated through Forms are also managed by the Form Creator. Basementgrid provides an escrow-like service for these deposits, but the conditions for their release or refund are determined by the Form Creator.
4.2. Subject to Hold by User (Form Creator): Deposits are generally refundable unless they are subject to a hold by the Form Creator based on the terms and conditions they have set for the deposit (e.g., for damages, unfulfilled obligations, or breach of agreement).
4.3. How to Request a Refund for a Deposit: If you require a refund for a refundable deposit, you must contact the Form Creator directly. Basementgrid does not determine the validity of claims for deposit release or refund. The Form Creator is solely responsible for reviewing your request and initiating any approved refunds.
5. Refunds for Bookings Requiring Payments
5.1. Location Owner's Responsibility: As stated in Section 4.4 of our Cancellation Policy, Basementgrid is not responsible for the cancellation, rescheduling, or refunds related to bookings that require payments.
5.2. How to Request a Refund for a Paid Booking: The terms and conditions for cancellation and refunds for paid bookings are set and managed solely by the User who offers the Location for booking (the "Location Owner"). Any requests for cancellation, rescheduling, or refunds for paid bookings must be directed to the relevant Location Owner.
6. General Disclaimer
Basementgrid provides the platform for these transactions and services but is not responsible for the specific terms, conditions, or outcomes of agreements made between Users (e.g., between Form Creators and tenants, or Location Owners and bookers). All disputes regarding payments for forms, deposits, or bookings must be resolved directly between the involved Users.
7. Changes to This Policy
Basementgrid reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Policy within the Basementgrid app or on its official website. Your continued use of the Basementgrid app implies acceptance of the revised Policy.
